When the program ran in Ontario in January 2026, examples listed in the news were around 11 a.m. at specific theatres, and the dates and theatres varied.

Family Favourites runs at participating locations, and I could not confirm which Ottawa theatres participate. The January 2026 Ontario examples named theatres in Brampton and Niagara Falls, not Ottawa. These are the Cineplex-branded theatres in Ottawa according to local listings, so start by checking them:
Theatre list from CinemaClock and 613today (updated Oct 23, 2026). Landmark Cinemas in Kanata and Orleans is a different chain and is not covered by the Cineplex program. Scotiabank Theatre Ottawa and the Gatineau theatres appear inconsistently in the listings I found, so check them on Cineplex's site if you want them.

A family of four at $3.99 a ticket pays $15.96 before tax if tickets are bought in theatre. Online, the first four tickets add a booking fee, so the same family pays more. Taxes are extra on top of every figure below.
